My Cookies!!!

I know Christmas has come and gone and now we are on to a new year and new beginning, but I wanted to post some pictures of them, every year I add a new cookie to my trays I pass out, this year was a Snickerdoodle, I don't know how I felt about them, everyone seem to really enjoy them but I just couldn't get into them. I don't know if these will be keepers for next year. I also made the most wonderful, delicious, mouth watering caramels, and peanut clusters and of course the traditional peanut brittle, this year I didn't make the teeth shattering peanut brittle I made it just under that stage and oh my it had just the right amount of crunch to it and proceeded to melt in your mouth! It was DIVINE!!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!

I look forward to the new year, but unlike every year that has gone by I am not going to be making any new year resolutions!!!! Some of my resolutions have lasted for a couple of months and others a week and some a day and yes unfortunately some have lasted a mere hour, I know seems silly to say I will do something and then let it go by the wayside, so that is why I am trying something different, and I am going to free my mind and spirit of any have too's and will allow myself to move ahead in my day to day living!

Christmas Time is Here....

Yes these are my favorite shows but I love this Charlie Brown's Christmas, my kids have each has been watching it with me ( they don't know they are watching individually with me) then tonight we are going to watch it as a family, I know sneaky but they don't know!!(hehe)

Christmas Decorating In My Home...

So here I sit and as I look around I finally think I have figured out how to decorate for christmas in this house, see this will be our third christmas in this home. Yes it has taken me this long to get a feel for how I want to decorate, well also because most of my pictures didn't turn out the last two years only just a few, so really I had forgotten where I had placed things at, and I have to have things together I can't just put stuff out, everything has to have it spot!! Whew, I know kinda odd but that is me, none the less this year I have taken tons of pictures so far just in case and yes as my kids tease me from every angle possible.

Snowflakes are falling........

Well it's snowing snowflakes, but these I don't mind, as a matter of fact they look so delicious I just want to eat them, in all actuality these are the cookies I made for the ladies in the front office at my youngest school, of course I had to leave some at home for my kiddos to enjoy, I am sure these won't melt but I do know they will disappear by tonight......

I Think I Am Ready.......

Hi Everyone, well I am sitting and thinking to myself how thankful I am for the home that my dear hubby has provided for us, and even more thankful that I am inside and not outside because it is really, really cold out there. Yesterday we had a windchill factor of -15 degrees!!!!

None the less over the last weekend I finished up the outside decorating and I want to show some pictures, now some of these may seem like duplicates but they were actually taken at different times, the pictures with the white spots on them well these are not ghosts or orbs or anything odd like that, this is SNOW!!!! We got hit with the season's second snow and yes I was out taking pictures just so you could see, hope you enjoy them!!!!

Morning .......

Here we are once again morning has arrived upon us, what a short night it seemed, yesterday the hubby and I finished decorating the outside of the house, well almost there are still a few things I want to do, I hope that everyone has a Wonderful Day and just to make sure you are at ease please enjoy this with me as we we drink our coffee, tea or milk, Enjoy!
